Exhibitors and visitors alike were delighted by the seventh edition of SICAM. The International Exhibition of Components and Accessories for the Furniture Industry came to an end on October 16, having achieved very positive results thanks to the high numbers of international buyers and interior designers in attendance. This year, as before, the figures were impressive, with 6,800 companies appearing and 17,000 trade professionals making their way through the doors, 35% of whom came from a total of 96 countries.
The ICA Group stand was very well-received by the overseas trade professionals, who accounted for 52% of the total visits, hailing above all from Russia, Spain, the United Arab Emirates and France. ICA Group used the SICAM platform to give previews of the latest, on-trend innovations for the design market, which are the fruit of the meticulous approach to research taken by the R&D laboratory: a selection of new transparent and lacquered top coats with material-like effects and various new ideas for the Luxury sector, with special processing solutions that have exceptional visual impact.
Very much in the spotlight was Deep Black, a unique black tone specifically designed by the ICA Group experts to make any surface all the more exclusive and fascinating. This high-impact effect is available in various gloss levels, from gloss to extra-matt, and meets the needs of architects and interior designers who want to offer maximum performance with material-like effects applied to furnishings.
Another great innovation for the 2015-2016 season is the new ICA Group app, totally new in form and function, conceived for those who love the world of color and design.
At the stand, workstations were set up to allow visitors to get a sneak peek at the new Application Book, which is available to download free of charge for iOS and Android tablets and smartphones. It's a new way to stay up to speed with the latest, on-trend solutions launched by ICA Group and with the cutting-edge research conducted by the R&D laboratory.
