Technology. Maximum product customization. Environmentally sustainable approach. This is how Binova, a company that creates exclusive kitchens, has focused everything on the well-being of people and the environment.

Binova, from artisan production to technology

Binova was born in 1958 in Petrignano, a small village outside Assisi (Perugia). In a small artisan workshop, big ideas took shape, looking to America and its technological innovations. These innovations were soon imported. Partnerships with established designers, patents and inventions that looked to the future marked the beginning of Binova’s story. And this is only the first chapter.

The second began in 2016 and centers around Antonio Arangiaro, CEO of the Cubo Design group. A businessman with years of experience in the kitchen industry, he had a dream: to take the artisan work of carpenters’ workshops to an industrial level. This was the start of the Factory-One adventure, one of the first facilities in Italy to be entirely inspired by industry 4.0 principles. It contains interconnected, digital machinery enabling creation of every single product of Binova kitchens from scratch.

Another essential element of the Binova mission is promoting the well-being of people and the environment. And for this, the company also sought our help.

Binova and ICA Group: on a mission for the environment

This is why Binova chose our IRIDEA WATER-BASED range of coatings, which has an extremely low content of volatile organic compounds (VOCs). Just consider that compared to traditional solvent-based coatings, the coating process performed at Factory-One reduces VOC emissions by 90%.

Furthermore, our coatings meet every product customization requirement and are very long-lasting.
